Gaming Follow Friday - Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Friday again? Well yes, I suppose it comes around at the same point every week but, y'know, sometimes it feels like it's arrived quicker than normal. No, I haven't been sniffing anything. I guess it doesn't help that I keep lying in till 11... Doesn't matter! Just in case you don't know, Gaming Follow Friday's are a feature we here at Made2Game knock up at the end of a week in which we point you towards the most important Twitter accounts surrounding a particular theme.

Recent weeks have seen us scour Twitter for the most important Independent Game Developers and Video Game Composers. But with February lurking around the corner and hiding more games under its sodden raincoat than feels natural for the Gregorian calendar's cripple we're back on the usual game specific posts starting with EA and Big Huge Games massive action RPG Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a huge action RPG from a stable of formidable talent which you likely read about in one of our many other features on the game such as its prominent place in our Best New Games of 2012 feature, or in part one or part two of our interview with ex-Rare composer Grant Kirkhope. Oh and there's a demo out now as well, so get that played.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning casts you as 'the fateless one' in a world ruled by unwavering, pre-destined fate. Brought back to life in a Frankenstein experiment called the Well of Souls - it involves a generous amounts of creepy green swirling gases so we're betting on something twisted and evil - your very existence is unravelling the basic ideals of Amalur with every step you take. Throw in some satisfyingly heavy combat, artistically rich environment and creature designs and a world as big as John Barrowman's ego and you've got a tasty RPG pie almost ready for serving. It's just got to cool for a bit. Well, get delivered to shops.

Anyway, what follows is a selection of important Twitter accounts concerning the people behind and around this first adventure into the wilds of Amalur. Follow, send praise or simply nod and say 'yep, there's a few accounts there', whatever you do we've compiled the following accounts for your perusal and use. Enjoy.
