Saints Row: The Third review score average - we called it

Did you catch our Instant Review of the freshly-announced Dizzy game yesterday? Did you? DID YOU? If you didn't, then you should, because the intro explains all about what the Made2Game Instant Review is.

But, if you can't be bothered, basically Instant Review is where we predict a game's Metacritic score on the day its announced, basing that score only on the logo/press release/trailer/PR puff or whatever there is to hand at the time. However, we also employ our years of gaming and games media experience, and blend that with some Seer-like magic we've learned from re-runs of Charmed on SyFy.

So, if we may blow our own trumpets for a brief moment, we'd like to point you in the direction of the Saints Row: The Third Metacritic score. Saints Row The Third Xbox 360 Metascore? 85%. On PS3? 83%.

Our predicted Metacritic score from our Saints Row The Third Instant Review? 84%, which is of course the average of those two ratings above. Here's the proof  (our original article appeared back in April when the game was announced).

Anyway, we'll be pitting our wits against more games as and when they're announced and Instant Review is of course a game you can play too, so make sure you let us know your predicted Metacritic scores with a comment below either here, or on our Instant Review Page here.

Sadly THQ didn't send us a copy of Saints Row: The Third for review, but then we didn't really need to review it because we already knew what score it was going to get, right? Wrong. Boo you, THQ PR.
